A source of delicious and healthy fruits, but also a demonstration and educational platform for our clients and business partners.

Strawberry Plantation – Gospodarstwo Rolne Karol Krawczyk 

We also operate a modern strawberry plantation in Golianki 18 (Błędów). It is a place where we put our experience and innovative technologies into practice, creating a model farm for professional soft fruit producers.

Area: 7.5 hectares

By 2026, our cultivation will cover 7.5 hectares.

High, multi-span tunnels

High, multi-span tunnels are used, and the entire cultivation takes place on growing gutters.

The plantation, established in 2017, has been continuously expanding with each season.

Plantation characteristics

Characteristics of our strawberry plantation

  • The cultivation is carried out in foil tunnels, which provide optimal conditions for plant development and ensure high yield consistency.
  • Our own Krawland coconut mats have been used, supporting healthy root system development and improving crop efficiency.
  • The plantation serves as a testing center – this is where we implement and evaluate new production technologies, agrotechnical solutions, and irrigation systems.
  • The plants are cultivated sustainably, with an emphasis on efficient water use and natural growth-supporting methods.
  • Thanks to our collaboration with crop and horticultural technology specialists, our plantation is an example of a professional approach to berry production.

Conditions and technology

  • Cultivation takes place in tunnels on growing gutters
  • We use only coconut growing mats with a fixed mix composition
  • he plantations are managed by two fertilizer dosers, whose operation we adjust according to prevailing weather conditions. Currently, we have 12 sections, each covering approximately 0.5 hectares
  • Ventilation is carried out in a very simple way — by manually lifting the foil on the sides of the tunnels and opening the gates
  • For years, the plantation has been using biological plant protection agents against gray mold. We also introduce natural predators that help us reduce insect populations
  • Each year, planting begins in March, with harvesting starting in mid-May and continuing until mid-November. For 5–6 months straight, we offer fresh strawberries
  • We grow only everbearing strawberry varieties. Currently, we cultivate Vivara, Karima, Hademar, and Florice. These varieties are characterized by excellent flavor, large fruit size, and a suitable shelf life that allows for several days of sale
  • Fruit plots are harvested every 3–4 days. Immediately after picking, each pallet is placed in a shock cooler, which allows for rapid fruit cooling.

After cooling, the fruits are transferred from the shock cooler to a regular cold storage room, where they await loading. The fruits are sold to wholesale markets, supermarkets, and also exported.
